THE COLLECTORS

The collectors is a masterplan and infrastructure design proposal developed for Fly Ranch, a new sustainable community located in the high desert of Nevada for the Burning Man organization.

Each collector can harvest 12.7 megawatt-hours of annual solar energy and 20,0000 liters of rainwater a year. The protective dome, a thatched roof, is made of locally occurring sedge grass.
